Currently, he writes a daily column for the National Review Online, and is a senior foreign policy adviser to the Rudy Giuliani presidential campaign. He contributes frequently to the editorial pages of the New York Times and The Wall Street Journal, as well as to Great Britain's Daily Telegraph and Canada's National Post. From January 2001 to February 2002, David Frum was special assistant to President Bush for economic speechwriting.
