She was recently named to the Directorship 100 – Directorship magazine’s list of the 100 most influential people in governance and the boardroom. Beverly is a regular columnist for BusinessWeek.com’s The Boardroom and co-author of Building Better Boards: A Blueprint for Effective Governance (Jossey-Bass, 2005), and  Jumping Ship: How to navigate your way to a more satisfying job or career. Her latest book is Great Companies Deserve Great Boards. Beverly Behan holds both LL.B. and M.B.A. degrees. She is a consultant with Mercer Delta’s New York office specializing in corporate governance and executive compensation. Beverly is a frequent speaker and writer on corporate governance and executive compensation topics.  In addition to 5 years’ experience in corporate management, Beverly practiced law for over 5 years with two major Canadian firms and serves as a member of the Policy Committee of the Board of the Royal Ontario Museum.
