They developed Chris’ grandma’s recipe into Clodhoppers; a multi-million dollar candy business which they sold in 2006. In 2012 “OMG! – they came back!” with the launch of OMG’s their brand new gourmet confection.

From Clodhoppers to OMGs, this genuine and inspiring presentation explores the journey Larry and Chris took to build and sell the Clodhoppers brand, to the creation of their new venture OMG’s Candy. In February of 2012, Chris and Larry appeared on CBC’s Dragons’ Den in February 2012, where they convinced marketing maven Arlene Dickinson to invest in their premium candy OMG’s; which will be available nationally at Shoppers Drug Mart and Loblaw’s in March. They will share with you their thrilling experience of pitching on the Den, how things turned out, their thoughts on partnership and what’s different about launching a brand the second time around and can be sure they’ll bring enough OMG’s for the entire audience to enjoy.

Chris & Larry have been recognized for their sales and marketing techniques in media and publications such as CBC’s Venture, CNN’s Mavericks of the Morning and in Fortune’s Small Business magazine. In 2006 Clodhoppers was sold to Brookside Foods a leading Canadian chocolate manufacturer.

In 2012 they formed OMG’s Candy to introduce a new gourmet confection to the world.
