Speakers to Watch in 2015 | Frank Warren

2015 is upon us and this year promises new ideas, inspiration and actions toward our collective best year ever. As a tribute to these new beginnings, throughout the month of January we will be featuring a selection of ‘Speakers to Watch‘ in 2015; speakers who inspire, engage and challenge us. NSB-Divider Today’s featured speaker is a bestselling author setting out to change how we think about secrets.

Frank Warren | Creator of The PostSecret Project

Frank-Warren-PostSecret banner Frank Warren has teamed up with Vancouver’s TJ Dawe, Kahlil Ashanti, and Justin Sudds to bring life to the unheard voices of PostSecret, one of the most popular blogs in the world. PostSecret: The Show is a breakthrough in audience-sourced storytelling that reminds us that no matter what you may be facing, you are not alone. The show is set to run at Vancouver Firehall Arts Centre from January 20-February 7 and slated for a US tour next year. Frank finished out 2014 on high note with the release of Postsecret: The Album. The album curated by Frank includes recordings of some of the most compelling examples of strangers sharing their deepest secrets. Accompanied by the music of One Hello World, the tracks transport listeners to the invigorating atmosphere of a PostSecret: Live event, and provide a unique musical perspective on stories heard only once before. On it, you’ll hear from a man who’s living five lives and an immigrant who’s starting her life over. There’s a woman who’s been cheating on her husband and a marriage proposal. If that wasn’t enough,  Frank has also released a new book The World of PostSecret. It’s an addictive collection of new full-color postcard and app secrets from Frank —with more secrets than any previous PostSecret book.
