How to Change Marketing Mindsets in Innovative & Emerging Industries
Cannabis companies trading on the TSX? A booming industry based on virtual currencies? Until recently both would have been unimaginable. We’re living in an era where business and social landscapes are rapidly changing, with companies emerging on the fringes of society and at the forefront of new tech. While many are poised for growth, they face common obstacles. How will they work with changing rules and navigate current limitations? How do they swim against the “noise” of negativity and convince a doubting public? In this presentation, Fatima will answer those questions & more, while outlining how to change marketing mindsets in innovative and emerging industries.

Fixing Your Diversity Problem Means Creating a Culture of Inclusivity
You hear it all the time: “We need more women in tech and business. We need more minority engineers and more LGBTQ representation at the executive level…” The more diverse we are, the more likely we are to come up with ground-breaking and cutting-edge ideas, so why are our most innovative industries also the most homogenous? This session draws from Fatima’s experience working within large-scale corporations and the tech sector, where she’s seen firsthand a lack of diversity and the root of the cultural problem. She challenges the audience to be part of the solution and shows how we can break barriers and navigate this problem together.

Hacking Outbound Sales
With over 10 years of experiences in sales and business development, Fatima has become an expert in closing that deal. In this presentation, Fatima takes you through the ten steps to snagging that opportunity and converting it into a case won. She highlights common mistakes made by salespeople, and how you instantly develop that connection and rapport to work in your favour. Whether you’re just at the start of your sales career, or you just want to augment your existing skills, this presentation will set you on a clear path to success. This will be extremely beneficial to sales departments who have clear-cut targets, or for anyone who closes partnerships in their career.

10 Keys to a Killer Personal Brand
Since the term was coined in a Fast Company article in 1997, “personal branding” has become a hot topic. Everyone needs to build up their personal brand, but where do you start? Which networks should you use? And what are common personal branding mistakes? In this presentation, Fatima takes you through the ten steps to building a killer brand. She outlines why you need to care, where you should start, and why building your brand is similar to creating a marketing strategy for a company. Whether you’re just starting to think about your personal brand, or you just want to augment your existing brand, this presentation will set you on a clear path to success.
