Prior to that, she worked in Arizona for a couple of years with their morning show team. Evanka’s path to the sports desk had a couple of detours along the way. She graduated from Queen’s University with a degree in Civil Engineering. After working for a couple of years for an engineering consulting firm, she traded in the hard hat for the microphone.
